Terms of Service

"Opaige", "we", "us" — Opaige Inc., operator of opaige.com.

"Service" — Opaige: AI mock visa-interview practice, scoring, transcripts, recordings, and the dashboard around them.

"You", "user" — the individual who registered the account and agreed to these Terms.

"Mock" or "Session" — a single AI-run practice interview, in voice or video.

"Officer" — an AI archetype that conducts a Mock. It is software, not a person.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. By registering you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it current. One account per person; accounts are not transferable.

Opaige is practice software. It is not a visa service, not legal advice, and not affiliated with any government, embassy, consulate, or visa application centre.

An Officer is an AI character. A Mock is a rehearsal. The score you receive is generated by AI against a coaching rubric — it is not a prediction of your real visa outcome and carries no weight with any real consular officer or authority.

We make no promise, express or implied, that practising with Opaige will cause your real visa application to succeed. The decision on any real visa application rests solely with the relevant authority. You use the Service to rehearse and build confidence — nothing more is promised.

Do not present, cite, or imply Opaige scores, transcripts, or recordings to any embassy, consulate, court, or authority as if they were official. Doing so is a serious misuse of the Service (see section 8).

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@opaige.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend an account showing signs of compromise or abuse.

Opaige is offered on the following plans:

1. Voice mock — $29 per session. A single 15-minute audio mock interview with a scored transcript and Opaige Report PDF.
2. Video mock — $49 per session. A single on-camera mock interview with a scored transcript, Opaige Report PDF, and a recording.
3. Unlimited — $99 / month. Up to 30 voice mocks and 5 video mocks per billing period — enough for the most intensive prep schedule. Renews automatically each month until cancelled. If you genuinely need more in a given month, email support@opaige.com and we'll work something out.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction. We may change prices with notice; changes never affect a session you have already paid for, and subscription price changes take effect only from your next renewal.

During any announced open-beta period the Service may be offered free of charge. Beta access confers no entitlement to free access after the beta ends.

The Unlimited plan renews automatically on the same day each month and your payment method is charged at that time. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate or refund a partial month.

If a renewal payment fails we may retry it and will email you. If payment cannot be collected, the subscription is paused and Unlimited access ends until payment succeeds.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: a single-session purchase is refundable within 7 days if the mock has not been started; once a mock has been run, that session is consumed and non-refundable. Subscription months already started are non-refundable. Statutory consumer rights, where they apply, are unaffected.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. You agree not to: impersonate another person in a Mock; use the Service to prepare fraudulent or deceptive visa applications; present Opaige output as official; resell or share account access; attempt to extract, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service; or use it to harass, abuse, or harm anyone. Breach may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

Your mock recordings, transcripts, and scored reports are yours. You grant Opaige only the limited licence needed to host, process, score, and display that content back to you, and to deliver it via email. We do not use your content to train AI models — ours or anyone's — as set out in our Privacy Policy. You may delete any recording, or your entire account, at any time.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service depends on third-party AI, hosting, and email providers (listed at opaige.com/sub-processors); an outage at a provider may degrade or interrupt the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI scoring is accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose beyond practice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Opaige is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of a visa, opportunity, money, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or where required by law. On termination your right to use the Service ends; data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced by email to active account holders at least 30 days before they take effect, where practicable. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The current version is always at this URL.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms — except that if you are a consumer resident outside the United States, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law, and nothing here deprives you of the right to bring proceedings where such law requires.
